The widow immediately employed strategic tactics to hold her place in Mr. Smith's affections. Cecil and Sally started a counterattack and Mr. Smith became so uncomfortable that he sent the two youngsters to a movie. We find them now an hour later, parked in Cecil's car in front of the house.
