Mama's Brood, which started airing in 1934, was a 15-minute radio drama-comedy series about a family of Jewish-American origin travelling to Hollywood through their automobile. The family consisted to Papa and Mama Bloom, and their daughters Sarah and Yetta, along with their respective husbands Sydney and Harold.
This radio show is often compared to another popular radio show called the The Goldbergs, which also featured a Jewish-American family.
