This radio series was sponsored by Montgomery Wards, and listeners are asked to “get our catalog and join Mary at her office.” The Travels of Mary Ward radio program features “true to life experience of customers.” It was broadcast from August 24, 1936 to sometime in 1937. The theme for the series is Country Gardens. On the CD is also the tale about the fellow who created Montgomery Ward, Rudolph The Rednose Reindeer and Montgomery Ward stores from the their beginning to 2007.
