Before he dies however, he must sell it for less than he originally paid for it or else his soul would rot in hell forever. His only living relative, Barrie, offers to buy it if only to humour a dying man's last request he did not realise the consequences of this minor gesture... + In a hot summer courtroom some twenty years earlier Johnny Promise was found guilty of murder of the first degree and sentenced to the electric chair. However, his last words prior to his sentence being read was to Sammy with whom he promised one thing that he himself had less than one month to live and that they would indeed meet again ...beyond the grave. |
