| Plot | : | +Two brilliant detectives, one young and arrogant, the other old and pompous, team up to solve a complicated murder with few leads. Their only clue is a spent safety match found on the floor of the apartment. Their conclusions prove stunningly accurate until, suddenly, they stop making sense. + Whenever a crime is committed the police attempt to deduce what happened on the basis of clues found at the scene. Logic and probability are employed to create the most accurate hypothesis possible and from this it is hoped the crime may be solved and the criminals apprehended, but logic operates on appearances and as we all know things are often not as they seem. This story is about two detectives, one young, the other old. They solve a complicated murder together with one of their only clues being a spent safety match. |
