| Plot | : | +A man conspires with his girlfriend to off his wealthy but sick wife. He changes his mind at the last minute, but somebody else does the job for him. With all the evidence he has created, he has to convince the cops that he changed his mind. + This tale is about murder that crime of crimes. Shakespeare said, “Murder though it has no tongue speaks with most miraculous organ.” And indeed in this case the murderer unwittingly convicts him self by saying too much. It is a story with surprising twists and turns, with double crosses on double crosses. Listen to a man being set up to murder… + Bill's wife is extremely wealthy; stinking rich in fact, but she's slowly dying of a fatal illness. Bill's mistress, Adrienne, is impatient and wants him to hurry the process along, so that he can spend the rest of his life with the woman he truly loves. After all, if they come clean about their affair, Anne will want a divorce and Bill will be written out of her will. They'd be penniless! They may as well live a long, happy, wealthy life, right? |
