"Mystery at its Best", this unusual OTR gem solves psychological mysteries, "whodunit" thrillers and crime crusades with a cast of network stars.
“This is a time for mystery”, is one of the lines being used by the host of this classic radio show upon the opening of the program. Indeed, The Haunting Hour has won itself the title of being a mystery. Did you know that even upon the end of the show, the cast and the crew was never revealed? There were no credits. The ending was not even announced to the public, thus when the show ceased to exist, it seemed that it just suddenly vanished without a trace.
The show was about the creepy scenes, bone-chilling organ, screams and a mystery to be solved. Most of the time, women are the show’s protagonist, maybe for the purpose of targeting women as the audience.
