| Plot | : | + Program #12. "Hearse On The Highway". Jack and Doc try to stop a gang of hijackers. It is ten 'o' clock on a cold rainy night on a state highway curving along the coast of southern California. Jack Packard and Doc Long are in the cab of a two tonne delivery truck, attired in the khaki uniforms and peaked caps usually worn by truck drivers. They are on an assignment, disguised as truckers and they're trying to catch hijackers... A few miles inside New Mexico from the Arizona border, Marty Jennings and her husband George operate a tourist camp, but Marty does most of the operating because of her husband's ill health. It's shortly after dark, and Marty enters the bedroom with a tray of food for George, when there is a knock at the door. It's an old acquaintance - and she's very surprised to see them... |
