| Plot | : | During WWII, a German Officer reports being fired upon by a woman in a French village. In retaliation, the Germans will hang 50 women unless the suspect comes forward. During the execution, the soldiers noticed that all the women they're hanging acts weirdly. When the fourth and fifth women are to be executed, the German Captain realizes they all look the same. (Narration: War and war bonds reminder). Execution is a story not of imaginary terrors, this play will thrill and chill you beyond any power of the supernatural because this story is based on cruel grim reality. Arch Oboler urges you not to avoid this excitement and tension, rather he urges you to turn your radio up and listen as you never did before… When an unidentified French woman shot at and slightly wounded a German patrolman Captain Hans Maulich placed the entire population of the French village Renoir under arrest and collected fifty female hostages to be hanged in the village square unless the criminal who had shot the German was turned over at once.
