The talking head turns out to be a radio receiver, invented by the evil Lamberti! He thinks the professor is dead and plans to kill Lorna with explosives. Lamberti is killed and the head crushed. The story can end hear if only thirteen weeks were bought by the station. + The battle between the forces of the queen and those of the priests has ended in victory for the professor who is directing the queen’s army. The enemy is routed and taking refuge in the hills. As the professor, Jack and Umguru watch the closing scenes of the battle they’re informed by a dying man that the queen and Lorna at the palace are in serious danger. |
