Long thought dead, the brother is best remembered for stealing the wealthy hermit's wife many years ago.The story begins near the outskirts of a small New England town. It is early evening. Situated on a high hill that overlooks the town is a large ancient mansion, the ancestral home of five generations of DeWitts. A car turns off the highway and into the private road. Slowly it crawls along the winding and bumpy driveway, its headlights illuminating the crumbling ghost-like mansion. At last the car comes to a stop. An elderly man gets out and walks up the wide stone steps to the front door, he lifts the huge knocker on the door .... Written, produced, and directed by Robert A. Arthur and David Cogan and starring Everett Sloane and Kermit Murdock. |
