The stories are very similar to the type on Suspense, Escape or similar OTR shows. Some are actually better (in my opinion). I think it was a show from the early 1950s, since there is one episode that takes place in "Red China", which did not exist before 1950 - if I recall correctly. Also, I am pretty sure it was a syndicated show, because all of the commercials are for local stores or organizations. I forget the specific community. Sorry about that. PS: A weird aspect of the show: Nearly all of the episodes take place in the U.S., but often the actors have British accents.

I just now noticed that, according to the URL for each of the episodes on the OTR Downloads website, this is a show from 1953. Also, the recordings are from broadcasts on a radio station in Greenville, South Carolina.
