Spoiler : A radio murder mystery writer is so upset with the show's producer for constantly changing his scripts, he plots to kill the producer, record the murder, and turn it into his final work for the show by broadcasting it.. Starring Richard Widmark, this is a top-notch episode of Suspense from 1951, produced and transcribed by the immensely talented Elliott Lewis, with his wife, Kathy as one of the characters.. now someone please tell me why Harlow Wilcox always says Autolite spark plugs are "ignition engineered.".. it's meaningless advertising babble that drives me batty.. heh.. enjoy.. Sounds like The Mysterious Traveler - "Murder Is My Business" episode.

Spoiler : There is another great Suspense episode, with Raymond Burr, called Murder on Mike. The first time I heard it I had not heard any other Burr radio (only knew him from Perry Mason and Godzilla) and didn't know he could play a bad guy!

Spoiler : In Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window" Burr is pure evil in that film At the time I first heard radio radio show (circa 1976) I hadn't seen Rear Window. Didn't see that until the early 80s. Hitchcock could've named the film "I Dismember Mama" based on what Burr did in it.. but I think there's already a horror film with that title that post-dates "Rear Window."..
