Spoiler : "A Week Ago Wednesday" is a chilling, surreal nightmare within a dream within a nightmare within reality.. a woman wakes up on a park bench, goes to her flat, and other people are living there.. is she dreaming or is it real?.. In some ways, it's both, but if nothing else it's a fantastic study of the tricks one's mind can play.. it was broadcast twice on "Suspense" thirteen years apart.. once in the 1940s starring Nancy Kelly, and again in the 1950s starring Hillary Brooke.. the scripts are *almost* identical, but the plot is the same.. I found both versions on one Web page.. give them both a listen, and thanks to Antioch 1710 for playing both versions about a week apart this month..

Spoiler : I could almost swear there's another Suspense episode with a similar theme. The wife dreams her husband has a mistress and that they plan to kill her. Things that happen in the dream happen to the woman in real life, but there is a twist ending, different from "A Week Ago Wednesday"
