Spoiler : Corny propaganda for the consumption of the victorious American public.

Spoiler : Starts off intriguingly enough—why is the man so obsessed with getting the negative?—and the breezy coastal setting of Portugal adds a nice flavor to the proceedings, but it unfortunately devolves into just another routine piece of propaganda, complete with broad stereotypes and standard patriotic sermonizing. However, it's interesting to note that even though this episode aired in 1944, the story actually takes place after the end of the war, thus the narrative is imagining what the immediate post-war process would be like. A curious facet to the production, but the fact that it's coupled with a disappointing plot still prevents it from being anything but mediocre. [5/10]
