The script was previously used on "Suspense" on April 19, 1945. + Walter Gage receives a call from his wife Helen telling him that Mrs Penrudock’s pearls have been stolen and that she wants him to find them for her. However the pearls that have been stolen are false as Mrs Penruddock actually sold her real ones to a jeweller and failed to tell her husband. Now she fears that the thief will realise this and try to blackmail her. Story by Raymond Chandler |
