Plot | : | + "The Thirteenth Sound". Sponsored by: Auto-Lite. A woman who murders her jusband is plagued by a high pitch sound like a chalk squeaking on a blackboard. The story makes excellent use of sound effects. The script was previously used on "Suspense" on February 13, 1947. + “I waited until he had his back to me with his hands reached high in the air reaching for the window frame and I opened my purse, took out the gun, aimed very carefully at a spot just on his left shoulder blade and pulled the trigger four times. He didn’t immediately fall, he had his fingers over the window ledge and with some terrible effort he stuck his fingernails in the bullet hole to keep him from dying and then he fell. I bent and looked at my husband’s body. He was quite dead…” Produced by: Elliott Lewis Written by: Elliott and Cathy Lewis |
