Plot | : | + "The Empty Chair". Sponsored by: Auto-Lite. A story with a heavy-handed public service theme of safe teen-age driving. A young teen-ager drives recklessly, races hot rods and get into big trouble. Ralph Thomas (president of the Automobile Club Of America) and Royce Martin (president of Auto-Lite) speak during the program. Elliott Lewis presents a "Golden Mike" award to Agnes Moorehead as the, "best female actress on Suspense." + Barbara Warner is a schoolteacher at the local high school and boarding at the house of wild teenager Bobby and his widowed mother. Bobby plays truant from school and is only interested in his car and speed causing his mother to worry about him. Miss Warner tries to introduce him to fellow teacher Mr Douglas who is a driver education teacher and takes an interest in disruptive kids. At the end of this episode director Elliott Lewis informs Agnes Moorehead that she has been voted Autolite’s Golden Mike Award for the best female performance of the year on Suspense.
