| Plot | : | + "'Twas The Night Before Christmas". Sponsored by: Auto-Lite. The parents of a little girl aren't coming back for Christmas. They were on a plane reported missing over the Atlantic. A well-written story, good radio. The story was previously produced on "Suspense" on "December 24, 1951. On Christmas Eve in 1886 Dr Watson was standing in their Baker Street room dressed as Santa Claus. Dr Watson is going to their housekeeper Mrs Hudson’s little nieces house as their father is in hospital and her sister is by his bedside. Just as he is leaving Lord Widdicombe arrives but this time rather than as a friend of Sherlock Holmes, as a client. Tonight he is having a party and he usually dresses up as Santa Claus to distribute his very expensive valuable presents. However this year he has received a warning letter and asks Sherlock Holmes to be Santa Claus. There’s always time for outstanding Children’s theater Let’s Pretend created by Nila Mack. Uncle Bill Adam’s get us started on the story The Night Before Christmas, a story which can be heard through homes all over the world on Christmas Eve. It begins as mother tucks Sally Ann and teddy in to bed… |
