Warren Coates would never forget Manuel Romeros as he played his farewell scene very well and now Warren was in his car opening Romeros’s small token of his appreciation. It is a watch, handsome, expensive and engraved “To Warren, a faithful friend and assistant.” But unknowingly Romeros had given him a lot more than that, slowly systematically through those last faithful five years Romeros had also given him $50,000 that he doesn’t know about and he won’t know about it ever. Warren had manipulated things perfectly and Romeros had never questioned his integrity when writing him cheques and giving him cash without question. |
