Spoiler : Chris' nuptials are soured by a couple of disturbing encounters with people who make no bones about wishing her dead for supposed wrongs she's committed on her seemingly ruthless rise to the top. You'd think that after "coincidentally" bumping into the second person, Chris might have started to suspect that not only was there some sort of conspiracy against her at work, but that her husband that she'd only known a short time might have been in on it. That may sound like a spoiler, but it should be pretty obvious to the listener after he reveals he has a sister that he never mentioned before. This episode left a bad taste in my mouth. For one thing, throughout most of it, we don't know if Chris is really guilty of the stuff of which she's been accused, so it's hard not to sympathize with the frightened woman over the sinister ghouls aggressively victimizing her. I mean, one guy blames her for his own alcoholism which cost him his business. And even if Chris is a horrible person, everyone else seems just as bad or worse for engaging in a criminal plot to terrorize and murder her.
