Spoiler : This was Barbara Welles sounding great on WOR Radio in NYC. I was listening to a woman on radio this morning on a national syndicated broadcast and thinking how incompetent and stupid she sounded...She was speaking at half the volume Barbara was speaking here and she was putting on a moronic scrunched, high pitched women's "business" voice that most female broadcasters have been using for the last 25+ years. I could barely understand what she was saying besides how unpleasant it was to listen to her. At one time to go into broadcasting you had to have a great voice and have a brain to keep interesting conversation going. Today I hear radio broadcasters with speech impediments who sound like they have a 60 IQ...This has been going on for over 20 years
