One of the soldiers requests the sound of a beer bottle being opened. The first tune is, "Four Or Five Times." Freeman and Gosden appear as, "Amos 'n' Andy." Jose Iturbi plays, "Fantasy Impromptu" and then is given a piano lesson by Andy. A similar script was used on, "The Amos 'n' Andy Show" on October 5, 1943 (see cat. #57305). and on "Christmas Reunion" December 25, 1943 (see cat. #91691). The system cue is not heard. |
