The Commandant of the AFRS appears on an AFRS program for the first time (his name is not mentioned) and thanks Marlene Dietrich for her appearances. She then sings, "Lili Marlene." Edgar Bergen prompts Charlie McCarthy to recite, "The Night Before Christmas." The Homer Hall Chorus sings Christmas carols. Recorded greetings from President Truman are played. |
