In Person with Dinah Shore goes back to an era when musical lyrics had meaning and didn't use language that would make a sailor blush. And on top of that, these songs actually have a Melody, with Dinah Shore doing a good job on them. Truman Bradley was the announcer, with the Gordon Jenkins band providing the music.

These were recorded during WWII and many of the programs refer to the fact that the shows were also produced for the "Boys overseas".
