This show stars Robert Benchley as m.c., Mel Blanc, Linda Darnell, Dick Aurandt and the Armed Forces Radio Orchestra, Allen Jenkins, Connie Haines and Verna Felton. Harry Mitchell announces. It's the same show as that listed at 03.30.1945.

Like it's more famous cousin Command Performance, G.I. Journal was a transcribed series, edited together from separately recorded segments. The program was formatted as a military newspaper with each program’s guest host credited as "editor-in-chief," and the individual segments introduced as "columns." G.I. Journal aired from 1944 through 1946 over the Armed Forces Radio Service.
