Guest Star was a 1940 public service radio program produced by the United States Treasury Department. It was intended to to promote the need and importance of the sales of saving bonds. Just like what its name suggests, the show had a large number of famous guest stars which included actors, singers, and comedians. These people offered a variety of gimmicks in like short skits, hilarious jokes, musical numbers, and many more. After a year, the show said goodbye to its listeners.
