For a show that was able to last decades (1938-1958 in radio and until 1971 in TV), it didn't stop giving entertainment to its listeners and viewers. Kraft Music Hall was a musical variety that was not only able to invite big names in the industry but even make them. The main purpose was to support and give boost to the advertisement of Kraft products. Its debut was actually for the purpose of introducing a new product of Kraft-- Miracle Whip. Paul Whiteman, the King of Jazz, was the first host and star of the show. After he left in 1935, he was replaced by Bing Crosby who starred and hosted the show for the longest time.
