The orchestra and Alec play excerpts from, "The Rhapsody In Blue." Lowell Thomas tells the story of a flying war hero, Stanley Vishtaza (?) who shot down seven Japanese planes during one dogfight. Jimmy Durnate does a comedy routine and sings, "Durante, The Patron Of The Arts." Fredric March recites, "I Pledge America," by Milton Geiger. |
