Orson Welles reads the nativity scene from St. Luke, Bing sings "Adeste Fideles," and "White Christmas." Sally Stewart and the King's Men sing "The Night Before Christmas," with Orson and Bing joining in. The Railroad Hour presents a special Christmas show The Happy Prince starring Gordon MacRae as the Prince Statue with his guest star Miss Lucille Norman as the Little Swallow. The choir is under the direction of Norman Luboff and music prepared and conducted by Carmen Dragon. It is a great story with some wonderful music of Christmas including the songs, Oh Little Town of Bethlehem, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, The First Noel and Silent Night.
