+ Voice of the Army was hosted by Joel Ripley and ran in the late forties '46-'49. The show featured music and interviews with such artists as the DeMarco Sisters, but also had stories and educational material as well.The show was created for the War effort to entertain the troops or inform the public at home about the good cause. They also had shows that presented the results of surveys done of GIs about what they planned doing with their lives once the War was over and they returned to civilian life.
