| Plot | : | + A buffalo hunter named Gatliff brings a dying buffalo skinner into Dodge. His face had been pushed into a pan of hot lead! Soon afterwards, a nester is found stabbed to death. A good story. The script was used on the show again on October 24, 1953 and on June 30, 1957, and on the Gunsmoke television series May 2, 1959. Leo is a fanatical big-game hunter. He has traveled the four corners of the globe gathering together tigers, gorillas, and a selection of big cats for his personal zoo. On one of his safaris June, his wife, was mauled by a big cat and is now in a wheel chair. June tells Leo that she is not willing to finance any more expeditions into the jungle. Leo decides to get rid of his wife once and for all and starts to make plans. Can Steve Wilson and has able team rescue June in time, or will Leo complete his sinister plan. Matt and Chester are planning to go fishing when they spot a wagonload of buffalo hides with a crowd of people around it in town. Seems a skinner had been hurt last night and now he was dead. Matt Dillon wants to know how he ended up dead. |
