The script was used on the Gunsmoke television series on December 14, 1957. The system cue has been deleted. The Doc is on his way to Cam Seaton’s house, as he needs medical attention. He meets a stranger who tells him that Cam is ok and to turn around and go back to Dodge. The Doc refuses and the stranger shoots the Doc’s horse and threatens to kill the Doc. However Doc kills him before the stranger has chance to turn the gun on him. By the time the Doc reaches Cam’s house on foot Cam has died. |
