Gideon is a peaceable man who won't even identify his tormentors. The script was used on the Gunsmoke television series on January 17, 1959. The system cue has been deleted. Gideon Seek is a simple sheepherder who doesn’t believe in killing. Two cow herders approach him and tell him this is cattle country and they are going to send out a message that they don’t want sheep on the land by killing his whole herd of sheep. They warn him not to go to the law or they will kill him too. |
