The script was used on the Gunsmoke television series on September 5, 1959. Danny Leach had finally left his father’s ranch and moved in to Dodge. Danny wasn’t a kid anymore and was fed up of his father thinking the whole world was his and everything in it includiong Danny. His father was having trouble with tresspassers camping on his ranch but Danny didn’t think they were any bother and was actually seeing one of the gypsy girls. Marshall Matt Dillon warned Danny to be worried for himself as gypsies only look out for their own and would not look kindly on one of their women seeing an Outsider. |
