Title | : | there never was a horse |
Air Date | : | 09.19.1953 |
Plot | : | + Ken Creed comes to Dodge. He's the fastest gunman ever (faster even than Marshal Dillon), and he's looking for a shootout! The script was used on the Gunsmoke television series on May 16, 1959. Ken Creed was a gunman from Arizona who came to Dodge. In a bar he shot and killed a drunken man in self-defence witnessed by Marshall Matt Dillon. He told Dillon he was not proud of killing the man. Dillon knew Creed has a man who killed for a reputation and knew that what would really make Creed proud would be to kill a man as fast on the draw as Dillon. Creed took every opportunity to pick a fight with Dillon. |
