Yorky's step-mother is something else again. A good story. The script was used previously on October 17, 1953 and on the Gunsmoke television series on February 18, 1956. The cast credits, final commercial and program closing have been deleted. Brant and his son have a ranch and when Arapaho Indians were waiting to steal some horses they put up a fight and scared the Indians off leaving behind one of their kid’s who had been shot in the leg. The Indian boy turns out to be a wild white boy called Yorky who wants to go back to the Indians. Repeat of the story broadcast on the 17th October 1953 but with different commercial. The 1953 recording is better quality. |
