The Ranger accompanies Tonto, who must return within two weeks to prevent Red Crow from going to war. An impossibly difficult trail must be conquered in just four days. Tonto's horse ("White Feller") is wounded during the journey. Chief Thundercloud keeps "White Feller" to nurse him back to health and gives Tonto his own fabulous horse. When the Western United States was first opened to settlers the gun law ruled the cattle country. It was then that the phantom figure of the plain rode in the cause of Justice. It was he who led the fight for law and order and the stories of his adventures have come down to us through the generations. Return once more to those thrilling days when the West was young. From out of the past come the thundering hoof beats of Silver, the Lone Ranger rides again… |
