The President asks the Lone Ranger to help with the construction of a transcontinental railroad. To assist the Ranger, the president assigns Joan Barclay, who was the mysterious woman who helped the Ranger break up "The Legion Of The Black Arrow." We learn that many years ago, Joan Barclay discovered the five murdered and one wounded Texas Ranger who had been shot by the Cavendish gang, before Tonto found them! She was the sister of Jim Barclay, one of those Texas Rangers who were killed by Cavendish. Together, Joan and the Lone Ranger begin to battle the gang that will become known as the "Iron Spur Conspircy." |
