Spoiler : I was born in 1947 and from a very young age my mother made sure I got to listen to the radio show---then at some point I was given a 78rpm record of this episode, "The Origin of the Lone Ranger." I loved that record and played it over and over--even having it still in my collection when I lived in Westwood to attend UCLA where I earned a cum laude degree in English. It remained a favorite possession for a very long time, nestled in among the Beatle albums and so many more 60's music. I truly loved and was inspired by the Lone Ranger and can never forget his wonderful idealism and selflessness!
