Will his doing shopping when Temple starts to Mock him about his manhood. They start to argue and things inevitably end up getting heated. Temple tells Will that he will eventually get his way and make Will sell his farm and the accompanying land to him. Why doesn't Will stand up for himself? He's not usually one for holding back, but something has changed and Will seems to want to avoid violence even to the point of never wearing a gun. An old friend of Lee Quince Lieutenant Robbie Wenten has been assigned to Fort Laramie. He was previously demoted for poor judgment branded a drunkard, a troublemaker and a coward. Quince felt he did not deserve that reputation. He had seemingly run away from a fight leaving his commander and 200 men to be wiped out. Though Quince argued he was under attack himself and at least succeeded in saving his own command. |
