Soldiers of the Press referred to the war drama series created in New York and sold for publication by the World Broadcasting System. It aired for three years, starting from 1942 and ending in 1945. No one knows how many episodes the series had come up with, even up to now, although there are some who claim that there were more or less 148 episodes. Every episode is quarter hour in length, and involved retelling a news story about the World War II. The narrators were the correspondents from the United Press that included Walter Cronkike and Harrison Salisbury. Other not-so-famous correspondents also worked for the show.
