However, the incidents depicted either happened or might well of happened + The Ship was written by C.S. Forester the emminent English author of Horatio Hornblower. It is a glorious yarn about a glorious British vessel and the men aboard her. It is a novel and yet as you read it you feel you’re reading fact. It is a tough, authentic and gripping tale. |
